Community Based Adult Services - Formerly known as Adult Day Health Care Agencies (ADHC)
Offers medical, rehabilitation, and social services to adults with physical or mental impairments, who wish to maintain or improve their level of functioning. Funding is through Medi-Cal and transportation is often available as is a hot meal. Part-time services are also often available.

Transportation Solutions for Older Adults from Jewish Senior Services Council, delivered by Jewish Family Services. Many older adults live with this loss of independence every day. Without transportation, simple things such as medical appointments, grocery shopping, or a lunch date become major life challenges.

UTILITIES

SDG&E Medical Baseline Allowance
A discount rate for those who use power wheelchairs, suction machines, pressure pads, oxygen concentrators, electrostatic nebulizers, hospital beds, or medically require special environmental conditions such as heating or cooling.
