TRUST ASSISTANT

Full-time position located in our San Diego/Kearny Mesa office

DUTIES:

Under general supervision of the Trust Supervisor, prepares cash receipts for posting to trust accounts and scans electronic bank deposits; processes and pays out-of-home services on e-billing; processes e-billing/Service Provider Portal applications, and generates e-billing invoices for purchase of service vendors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School graduate or equivalent; college level courses in bookkeeping and accounting desirable.

EXPERIENCE:

Three (3) years work experience in fiscal record keeping in an accounting environment with a computerized accounting system. Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting practices, procedures, and terminology, and general office procedures.

Ability to work independently to perform assigned tasks. Ability to work with persons with developmental disabilities as well as a cross-section of the community, including diverse ethnic groups. Ability to meet stringent deadline/time frames; maintain record keeping systems; perform mathematical calculations and analyze statistical data. Excellent 10 key by touch, data entry and word processing skills.

JUNIOR PROGRAMMER

Full-time position located in our San Diego/Kearny Mesa office

DUTIES:

Under the Supervision of the Manager, Software Development, Information Systems, responsible for the maintenance and development of corporate software programs and database applications; report writing; the resolution of second and third tier help desk requests; and provide assistance for IBM system maintenance issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of two (2) years IT experience. At least two (2) years of application support, including troubleshooting and problem resolution, and report writing capabilities. Programming experience developing and maintaining software applications is desirable.

Analytical ability. Good sense of order and organization. Empathetic with the needs of the end users. Ability to solve software/hardware systems problems; resourceful. Knowledge of graphical user interface design; IBM midrange computers, and of other programming languages such as C++, RPG, and SQL is desirable. Ability to maintain high standards of professional knowledge and expertise.

DUTIES:

Under direction of an Office Manager, will perform administrative support involving a wide variety of daily activities using various software applications. The position covers for the Call Center and Reception areas. Will use various software applications; plan, organize, and carry out own work, and work in coordination with other staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

Two (2) years secretarial experience. One (1) year Microsoft Office skills experience or Microsoft Office proficiency certificate. Must be bilingual English/Spanish.

Excellent telephone, interpersonal, soft people skills, active listening for good customer service; critical thinking for good decision making. Flexible, takes initiative; ability to work in a team setting. Demonstrated ability to operate standard office equipment, organize work, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, problem-solve, and pay close attention to detail. STAFF PSYCHOLOGIST

Full-time position located in our San Diego/Kearny Mesa Office.

DUTIES:

Under the direction of the Coordinator, Psychology Services, the Staff Psychologist provides consultation, to Case Management staff regarding diagnostic assessment, eligibility and in their ongoing efforts to support individuals with developmental disabilities. The Staff Psychologist assists in reviewing psychological evaluations, and assists the Developmental Disabilities Screening Team in determining eligibility; participates in the appeals process and performs other duties as assigned. In special situations, he/she conducts psychological evaluations and/or gathers additional information for eligibility purposes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Educational Psychology. Possession of a current Psychologist License issued by the California Board of Psychology.

EXPERIENCE:

At least three (3) years of experience conducting psychological or neuropsychological assessments of individuals with developmental disabilities.

$5,414 – $5,955 Monthly

FISCAL ASSISTANT V

Full-time position located in our San Diego/Kearny Mesa office

DUTIES:

Under the supervision of the Fiscal Supervisor, the Fiscal Assistant V will download, review, and evaluate Purchase of Service (POS) requests, input requested changes to existing authorizations, and generate invoices to vendors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

At least three (3) years of practical related experience in fiscal record keeping. Experience in computerized statistical reporting or electronic billing and payment is desired. Associate degree in Accounting and hands on experience with computerized accounting systems or electronic billing and payment systems may be substituted for one (1) year of experience.

Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting practices, procedures and terminology; general office procedures; Excel and data base systems; thorough understanding of the upload and download of electronic data files using the internet; knowledge of statistical reporting and ability to analyze statistical and fiscal data; accuracy with mathematical calculations; define and problem solve. Ability to work independently and use independent judgement. Expertise with attention to detail, accuracy and speed; follow oral and written instructions. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
