CONSULTANT SERVICES

 

Because many consumers have multiple needs, a consultant staff is available to work with Case Management staff on a case-by-case basis. The consultant staff represents the areas of: education, psychology, nursing, language, medicine, genetics, physical therapy, occupational therapy, behavior modification, and nutrition. You may discuss your concerns in these areas with the service coordinator who will then initiate a referral for consultant services. Regional center consultants also work with community agencies and programs to assist in the development and coordination of services for persons who have developmental disabilities.
