Adult Day Health Care Agencies
Offers medical, rehabilitation, and social services to adults with physical or mental impairments, who wish to maintain or improve their level of functioning. Funding is through Medi-Cal and transportation is often available as is a hot meal. Part-time services are also often available.


Alternative Burial Services:

San Diego Memorial Society- A non-profit organization that promotes dignity, simplicity and economy in planning cremation and burial services.

Telophase Cremation Society - An alternative to the costly, formalized funeral system in America today.

The Neptune Society- Simple cremation giving families peace of mind.

Safety Assessment in the Living Environment


SDG&E Medical Baseline Allowance
A discount rate for those who use energy for their equipment needs, such as for power wheelchairs, suction machines, pressure pads, oxygen concentrators, electrostatic nebulizers, hospital beds, and others. Also eligible are those requiring special environmental conditions such as heating or cooling due to their medical condition.
