NURSE CLINICIAN

Full-time position located in our San Diego/National City Office. This is an office-based Monday – Friday daytime position with choice of flexible schedules.

DUTIES:

Under direction of the Nurse Supervisor, will perform nursing assessments, identify health care and developmental program needs of developmentally disabled individuals, function as a resource person to other Regional Center staff in the development of health related goals for the Individual Client Program Plan, and coordinate with community agencies to assist in implementation of the Plan.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduation from a school of nursing approved by the National League for Nursing; a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is desirable. A valid license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California is required.

EXPERIENCE:

Two (2) years of nursing experience in a health care setting. Experience in working with individuals with a developmental disability is desirable. Experience working in a consultative role is desirable.

Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision; function within an Interdisciplinary or Planning Team setting; prepare clear and concise reports. Knowledge of normal and abnormal growth and development; effect of cultural and social patterns on health; organization and functions of social, health and other support service agencies; current nursing practice methods and procedures; and state and federal legislation related to service for the developmentally disabled.

STARTING SALARY:

$4,701- $5,171 Monthly

OFFICE ASSISTANT II (BUSINESS OFFICE)

Full-time position located in our Kearny Mesa/San Diego Office

DUTIES:

Under the general direction of the Assistant Director, Business Services, will perform a variety of clerical tasks for the Purchase of Service and Trust sections, as well as secretarial duties as required in support of those work sections.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate or equivalent.

ABILITIES:

Ability to speak, read and write in English fluently. Must also possess grammar, spelling and punctuation skills. Ability to carry files, records, supplies and materials to/from work areas; operate office machinery requiring physical dexterity; ability to operate basic office equipment and copy machines.

EXPERIENCE:

Two (2) years of progressive clerical/secretarial office practices and procedures, including excellent telephone skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills are required. Experience must include at least one (1) year of Microsoft Office skills, or Microsoft Office certificate of proficiency.

MANAGER, ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SERVICES

Full-time position located in our San Diego/Kearny Mesa Office.

DUTIES:

Under direction of the Director, Case Management Services, is responsible for organizing, coordinating and directing the overall administrative support staff and office managers’ functions and activities of the Case Management Department. Organize, direct and supervise the work of the office managers and support staff; develop and manage adherence to administrative procedures and guidelines; develop, coordinate and implement support staff training programs; develop and update training and procedure manuals.

ABILITIES:

SECRETARY III – BILINGUAL FLOAT

Full-time position located in our Kearny Mesa/San Diego Office

DUTIES:

Under direction of the Manager, Administrative Support Services, will perform administrative support involving a wide variety of daily activities. Will use computers and various software applications, plan, organize, and carry out own work and work in coordination with other staff. Will work primarily out of Kearny Mesa office, may be required occasionally to cover front desk at other regional offices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

Two (2) years secretarial experience. One (1) year Microsoft Office skills experience or Microsoft Office proficiency certificate. Must be bilingual English/Spanish.

Excellent typing and telephone skills, interpersonal skills, soft people skills, active listening skills, and critical thinking for good decision making. Demonstrated ability to operate standard office equipment, organize work, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, problem-solve, pay close attention to details, and utilize good time management. Knowledge of standard office practices, principles and processes for providing customer service, excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation skills. Experience with scanning equipment a plus.

FISCAL ASSISTANT V

Full-time position located in our San Diego/Kearny Mesa Office

DUTIES:

Under the supervision of the Fiscal Supervisor, the Fiscal Assistant V is responsible for assessing, researching and paying medical bills, paying for one time vendor services, following-up on all vendor and case management inquiries, working with the overpayment reports and running queries. Perform other related work as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

At least three (3) years of practical related experience in fiscal record keeping. Experience in computerized statistical reporting or electronic billing and payment is desired. Associate degree in Accounting and hands on experience with computerized accounting systems or electronic billing and payment systems may be substituted for one (1) year of experience.

Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting practices, procedures and terminology and general office procedures; computer programs such as Excel and data base systems; thorough understanding of the upload and download of electronic data files using the internet; knowledge of statistical reporting and ability to analyze statistical and fiscal data; define problems and problem solve. Ability to work independently. Excellent customer service skills required, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Social Work Counselor

Full-time positions located in our Kearny Mesa, Santee, National City or Carlsbad Office

DUTIES:

Under direction of the Program Manager, provides overall service coordination to assigned clients; participates in the assessment of the needs of persons with developmental disabilities; acts as team leader and facilitates the development, implementation and coordination of an Individual Program Plan (IPP)/Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP); assists in locating and securing services and supports; acts as an advocate; provides counseling and training to persons served, their families, providers and others; evaluates and monitors the quality and effectiveness of services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

BA/BS or Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field required. Two years related experience required for BA/BS Degrees.

STARTING SALARY:

BA/BS Entry Level – $3,255 Monthly
Master’s Entry Level – $3,742 Monthly
